Good idea would be to give more system specs and also as mater said, tell us more about what patch you are using and also about how you are launching the game, via a shortcut or by clicking twice on vampire.exe buried in the steam folders.
I'm new to the game but something like that comes to mind. In otherwords, are you using SweetFX or are you using the SDK to launch the editor etc.
If not, was this Launcher anything special.
